As a life-long resident of the Minneapolis area I developed an interest in photography in high school and when the digital photography era came around, at least at an affordble level for the average consumer, I bought my first digital camera in 2000 and progressed through several more improved and advanced models of Nikon cameras until in December 2007 I purchased Nikon's flagship digital camera, the Nikon D3.

While I don't consider myself a 'professional photographer' as this is not my main line of work, I'm more of an advanced hobbyist of sorts. However I do use professional camera and lenses from Nikon. Over the years, various people have expressed interest in using my photos for various purposes so I created this website to allow people to very quickly and easily review and buy the photos they were intersted in. I also feel it's important to display my photos in galleries that allow the viewer to see big, beautiful images that fill their screen with color - allowing them to enjoy as well as inspect the images before making a purchase. No one likes looking at tiny images right? Big is better!

ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT -

The photos on this site were all taken with professional Nikon camera equipment. Over the last few years I've owned several of there camera bodies

- The Nikon D70, a 6 megapixel camera.
- The Nikon D200 In December 2005, I purchased this newly released model - a 10.2 megapixel camera. This particular camera was used for the majority of the photos on this site posted prior to December 2007.
- The Nikon D3 In December 2007 I purchased the brand new Nikon D3 - Nikon's new flagship DSLR camera. It is a full-frame DSLR and has 12 megapixel sensor - Nikon's first full-frame digital SLR camera, which produces great images and sets a new standard for low-light, high ISO images.
- The Nikon D3s In February 2011 I purchased the brand new Nikon D3s - another new flagship DSLR camera. It is a full-frame DSLR and has 12 megapixel sensor which produces even better images and sets a yet another new standard for low-light, high ISO images.

2006 & 2007 Minnesota Report - published by Cherbo Publishing in California, the Minnesota Report is published annually and promotes some of the major businesses and industries in Minnesota.

Coatings Pro Magazine A trade magazine for the coatings industry - the photos used were of the Minneapolis Central Library which featured the green roof the library incorporated into the building design.

Oslund and Associates A landscaping architect firm which designed the Gold Medal Park adjacent to the Guthrie Theater.

Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce Photo of the University of Minnesota campus used in their website.

MSHALE Community Newspaper Photos of the 2006 Twin Cities Marathon used in their publication.
